Waste

When it comes to waste, humans are on their own.

This is because the notion of “trash” and “garbage” are human created concepts. There’s no such thing as garbage in Nature. Natural ecosystems are made of organisms that have relationships of beneficial exchange. Nature is 100% efficient, recycling all parts, dust to dust.

Waste is a problem in our communities. But it is also the solution.

With nature as model, we can design integrated, closed loop systems that function with little to no waste, where the output of one system, becomes the input of another.
